Make a Donation:
If you are willing and able to make a financial contribution, we thank you!
We can receive donations through a tax-deductible 501(c)(3) account at Oakland Parks & Recreation Foundation.
(You might still see their former name, "Friends of Oakland Parks & Recreation", on some of their online accounts.)
Whatever you provide will pay for expenses that the grant cannot cover: repairing or replacing shovels and other tools, removing larger areas of concrete to allow more plants to grow around the new trees, and so on.
Please follow the instructions below.

Volunteer!

We have been grateful for volunteers like you planting trees, pruning trees, and retrieving stakes, at various times of the year.
Our planting season runs from December to May (plus-or-minus a month), and summer is our off-season.
Our grant funding expired in December 2019, and we have not scheduled any new events in 2020.
If we schedule new events, we will add them to our Meetup page.
